Today we broke a record: 126 participants correctly predicted the win by both France and Argentina. And out of those 126 people, in both cases, 32 correctly predicted the score (3-0 against Honduras, in the case of France, and 2-1 against Bosnia and Herzegovina, in the case of Argentina). These results by Bolão participants top our previous record, in the opening game. In that game 121 participants had correctly predicted the win by Brazil. Unfortunately, Cabeça de Macaco was wrong in all three cases.
Good news for Serginho Matos. He is now at the top of our official standings.
Wait! No sarcastic comment on Uruguay's loss? The Celeste was really "carcada pelas Costas"...
ReplyDeleteYou are right. I should have expanded on Uruguay-Costa Rica. The late viewing times in Europe have taken a toll on my blog posting abilities. By all means, use the comments to correct my omissions.
DeleteThe Macaco's performance is bad, as usual (129th). But his brother is doing pretty good, in fourth.
ReplyDeleteThe Macaco's brother must have a better prediction algorithm. But wait until Croatia becomes world champion. Then the Macaco and his brother will have a talk.
ReplyDeleteFrom my point of view, Macaco is doing a prettyyyyy prettyyyyy prettyyyyyyy good job. Respect for our Macaco brother.
ReplyDeleteDon't hide beyond "Anonymous", Larry David. I know it's you.
